My Vision

I make films because I rarely saw people who looked like me on screen growing up, and when I did, they were usually the punchline or the sidekick.

As a film producer and founder of AVIP, I focus on telling South Asian stories with real, complex characters. Not sanitized versions designed to make everyone comfortable, and not just stories about struggle. Just honest narratives about people navigating their lives.

My feature films True Love and Cold Pressed have screened at festivals and streaming platforms. I'm currently developing Braincell, a feature film that explores biotechnology, identity, and what it means to be human.

Through AVIP, I'm working to make South Asian stories feel as natural on screen as they do in real life, because representation shouldn't feel like a favor.
